We run effective ladies walking groups across Southend that suit all ages and abilities. Our courses are often life-changing and offer countless physical and emotional benefits that leave you feeling better than ever. There are many reasons for being part of one of our walking groups and our unique technique is ideal for those who are recovering from illness, coping with ongoing conditions, or looking to improve/maintain their level of fitness. We help Striders practise mindful living by using effective yoga, Pilates and mindfulness techniques and ideas. When stress or ill-health restricts mobility, walking with us encourages you to move more fluidly and create a good foundation for movement.
We walk around Leigh-on-Sea, Thorpe Bay, Chalkwell, Southend-On-Sea, Prittlewell, Hadleigh and Shoebury, taking in many beautiful sights and sounds along the way. As well as improving your physical fitness, our walking groups are great for confidence growth and helping you to connect with yourself and the world around you.

New members are always welcome and each session is sociable and friendly, making Simply Stride a great opportunity to make new friends. It is recommended that walks are completed at least once a week and this commitment means you will see lifelong results. Our instructors are here to help and guide you, so if you are training for an event – perhaps a race or trek for charity – we can tailor the course to suit your needs.
We have experience of helping our members with many conditions including arthritis, osteoporosis, asthma and general aches and pains so please do not hesitate to get in touch and let our team create a plan for you.
