A longer walk to enjoy with friends
Starting on the seaside of Leigh Train station and heading westwards towards the seawall, follow the roadway alongside the skate park and when arriving at Leigh Golf Range turn right into a pathway. Take this coastal pathway along to Benfleet taking in Hadleigh Castle and the marsh and farmlands. Eventually you come to a gate into the moorings at Benfleet. Here, you can enjoy refreshments at the querky boat bar, The Glady’s at Benfleet.
Continue up through the train station and you connect with a footpath taking you back through Hadleigh Park to return to Leigh on Sea. Enjoy a pint and seafood at The Crooked Billet and Osbournes.
